TEDx - “The Agreements”

This was definitely a pinnacle moment in my career. It came out of nowhere, and took me a couple of hours to process before even responding to the initial message. Due to how terrified I was to say yes to this incredible opportunity, I knew I HAD to do it for that reason. Life can scare you in the worst ways, and the best. Regardless, running through it rather than from it is when you get to really see what you’re made of.

I’m eternally grateful for the incredible team that put it all together, and especially grateful for my individual team that worked with and coached me directly. The love I have for these human beings will always stick with me. Much gratitude to Grand Canyon University for hosting and exhibiting TedX as we all know and love it, and for taking such great care of the speakers and performers.

This moment would’ve meant nothing, without the love and support of my dear family and friends that came to show their support, those that streamed online, and everyone else that has supported my journey.

The humbling part of this story, is that, 10 days after this great day, the world shut down due to Covid. I couldn’t help but laugh. That’s just how life goes sometimes. Can’t ever get to too attached to the lows or the highs. Everything can change for us at any moment. We must always submit to the will of uncertainty; divine spontaneity. Welcome it!
